Thelon Ventures Ltd. (TSX-V:

(Frankfurt:

now appears disproportionately
undervalued relative to the magnitude of
its holdings, J.V.'s, prospects, and
developments. Thelon's management
has added several quality uranium
projects and maximized shareholder value
by keeping the outstanding shares to
only 60M. Now trading at under
a mere $0.15 cents, the market cap of
Thelon is poised for upside valuation
movement with a number of potential
catalysts currently in the works; see

"The Drill is Turning on Pasfield Lake
Uranium Project" [See
Sept 12 Release]
Thelon possesses 5
highly prospective projects of
significance that are likely to generate
near term catalysts for investors
involved now:
|
1) (Uranium) Pasfield Lake
Project, Athabasca Basin
Saskatchewan
This project is of significance,
as unlike many, Thelon's
Pasfield is at the western
margin of the Wollaston-Mudjatic
magnetic low transition zone,
within which ALL of the major
uranium deposits in the eastern
Athabasca Basin occur. Results
to date from Pasfield Lake
confirm the presence of a block
of uplifted basement of regional
significance. Geological,
geophysical, geochemical, and
structural features combine to
form a large and integrated
exploration target. The Pasfield
Lake property is a high quality
uranium prospective property
with scientifically correct
attributes in close proximity to
Cameco and
the subject of
a current drill
program that began September 12,
2007 and is expected to last
approximately 8 weeks to
complete - Look for results in
the near term. See

|
2) (Uranium) Four Corners
Uranium project, Utah
- This Four Corners Uranium
project may very well prove to
be one of the most lucrative of Thelons projects as
the nature of the deposits
Thelon is searching for in this
area is more prevalent,
probable, and accessible. Plus
the recent news "Successful
Radon Survey Identifies Four
High Priority Targets"
[See
Oct 29 Release]
lends cause for attention,
especially since Thelon will
have the rights to acquire
majority ownership under
affordable preset terms should
their identified anomalies prove
laden in Uranium. The Project
comprises ten Utah State
Metalliferous leases, covering
over 6,580.24 acres, and 2,027
unpatented lode mining claims of
40,540 acres, totalling 47,120
acres (over 46 square miles).
The large acreage position is in
very prospective uranium
producing country, and includes
(1) extensive old mine workings,
(2) many referenced occurrences
of mapped significant uranium
showings shown on Plate 2
accompanying Bulleting 113
(referenced below) and (3)
favorable sedimentary geologic
settings for uranium ore genesis
in the paleo-riverine
environments in which much of
the Colorado Plateau ore
deposits in Utah are found.
These are historic references
and not the product of Canadian
National Instrument 43-101
compliant studies or reports. |
|
3) (Uranium) Woodruff Springs
Uranium Project, Utah
- The project consists of three
Utah State Mining Leases of one
square mile each, and 12
unpatented lode mining claims.
Metalliferous Lease 50400
(Section 36 T32S, R11E, 640.00
acres, Garfield County, Utah) is
a 640 acre (one square mile)
tract surrounded on the
northeast, east and southeast by
the 69 claims of the Congress
Project, all contiguous on the
southeast with a Metalliferous
Lease, all owned by Energy
Metals Corp. The other two state
leases are located on the south
side of the Woodruff Springs
drainage, together with the
unpatented lode mining claims. |
|
4) (Uranium) White River
Uranium Property, Nevada
- 2500 acres, White River Valley
Uranium property. Previous
drilling by Union Carbide has
outlined two areas encompassing
almost 500 acres with sandstone
hosted uranium mineralization.
Previous drillings have
intersected radiometric grades
of 0.04% U3O8 over 30 feet and
grade thickness (GT) values in
excess of 1.2 have been
encountered (GT= %U3O8 x ft)
within the mineralized areas. |
|
5) (Diamonds) Lac de Gras,
NWT
- JV partner Peregine holds the
majority interest in the DO27
kimberlite, with property
directly adjacent to Thelon's
highly prospective property.
Peregine has announced they are
going to drill Thelon's property
and have identified somewhere
between 15 - 20 targets which
they classify as "High
Priority". |

Thelon
Ventures Ltd.
TSX.V:iTHV
Frankfurt: TFH
Thelon
Ventures Ltd. is a successful Canadian
mining and exploration company whose
management has acquired, and currently
is exploring, properties of merit
located in regions that are proven to
host world-class producing mines. cing mines.
The Pasfield Lake uranium project is
turning out to be a very exciting uranium
venture as results from the 2007 winter
drill program confirms depth to basement
of 300 meters (previously thought to be
800 - 900m) and the existence of 3 fault
zones. THV's Pasfield Lake project is at
the western margin of the
Wollaston-Mudjatic magnetic low
transition zone, within which all of the
major uranium deposits in the eastern
Athabasca Basin occur. On the basement
floor there is a 500 foot uplift in the
basement rock, pushing it up to 300
meters from the surface. We know there
is uranium somewhere because of the moss
creek radon and helium anomaly; there is
a likelihood of Thelon's Pasfield Lake
property being the source and their JV
partner headed by the leading expert on
uranium in the Athabasca Basin, Dr.
Micheal Gunning, will be going back to
drill this summer.
Pasfield Lake was first drilled in 1977 after
the highest radon and helium anomalies
in the Basin were discovered at what is
known as Moss Creek. The past operator
drilled holes directly on top of the
anomalous readings and placed depth
to basement at 800 - 900 meters. Since
then Thelon and their joint venture partner have
performed airborne surveys, AMT work,
airborne gravity work, now drilling and the data just
kept getting better. The JV partner
committed to this exploration work and
drilling in return for a graduated
interest. The JV partner is currently at
60% ownership and will be required to
spend a considerable amount more to earn
up to 80% (see recent news release of
drilling on now). Such a business arrangement
is obviously wise and beneficial to THV
as it allows them to maximizing
shareholder value while avoiding
dilution and risk.
Thelon's Sept 12 press release "The
Drill is Turning on Pasfield Lake
Uranium Project"
reveals one of the most exciting uranium
stories currently being played out in
the Athabasca basin. Earlier in 2007
Thelon was able to
confirm the geological structure below
their Pasfield Lake project has 3 fault
zones with depth to basement of 300m and
evidence supports the postulation of
professionals regarding a significant
uranium deposit under the lake.
There is a whole checklist of geological
markers one needs to see when looking
for uranium and Thelon's Pasfield Lake
project has checked off all of them
minus hitting the uranium. Thelon's JV
partner headed by the leading expert on
uranium in the Athabasca Basin, Dr.
Micheal Gunning, is currently undergoing
the aforementioned Sept 12 drilling
program which is expected to take
approximately 8 weeks to complete.

Drilling is Complete
and More is Planned at Pasfield Lake Uranium Property
|
VANCOUVER, BRITISH
COLUMBIA - Thelon Ventures Ltd. (TSX
VENTURE:THV - News; FRANKFURT:TFH -
News) is pleased to summarize
exploration results on its Pasfield Lake
Uranium Project in Saskatchewan. The
winter exploration program at Pasfield
Lake has been successfully completed.
Encouraging results, from this program,
has accelerated the planning for
follow-up phase two drilling program in
the summer of 2007.
The Property is located in the eastern
Athabasca Basin in northern
Saskatchewan. It is 60 kilometres
northwest of the Cigar Lake Mine, the
second largest high-grade uranium
deposit in the world. The Athabasca
basin region of Northern Saskatchewan
hosts the richest uranium ore deposits
in the world and accounts for
approximately 28 per cent of the world's
annual mine production of uranium.
The 2007 winter program of AMT (audio
magnetotellurics) ground geophysics and
diamond drilling follows up a 1,116
line-kilometre airborne V-TEM survey
completed completed by Geotech Ltd. in
January 2006, and a 1,616 line-kilometre
airborne 3-D Full Tensor gravity
gradient survey completed by Bell
Geospace Inc. in January, 2007. Four AMT
transects were completed for a total of
63 line-kilometres. Four diamond drill
holes were drilled for a total of 1,604
metres by Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd. of
Smithers, BC.
Results from exploration work on the
Pasfield Lake property confirm the
potential for unconformity type uranium
deposits. The key factors include:
-
The basement high is located at a
depth of approximately 300 metres,
compared with depths to basement of
900 metres in the region.
-
Drilling intersected prospective
rocks in the form of graphitic meta-pelites
in the basement rocks with strongly
graphitic fracture zones.
-
Faulting, to provide potential
structural traps, is present.
-
Electromagnetic conductors are
interpreted to be coincident with
faulting.
-
Pervasive bleaching is present in
basement rocks at the unconformity
in all holes. Hematite-filled
breccia is present in basement
granite gneiss in Hole PF07-003,
which was terminated in a soft,
bleached, intensely clay-altered,
chloritic granitic gneiss.
Rock samples have been submitted for
geochemical analyses. In addition
samples will be subjected to spectral
analysis to determine the clay
alteration products in the alteration
detected in the drill holes. These are
standard techniques used in the search
for high grade unconformity style
uranium deposits which are found in
Saskatchewan.
Previous exploration in the region in
the 1970's identified a strong, large
radiometric anomaly at the spring-fed
headwaters of Moss Creek some 12
kilometres northwest of Pasfield Lake.
Results included coincident anomalies of
radon in water, uranium in stream
sediment and radioactive surface moss
along the same three kilometre stretch
of Moss, along with helium in near-by
soil gas. It was proposed that the
uranium source for the Moss Creek
anomaly is under Pasfield Lake, based on
a regional groundwater study.
The presence of graphitic meta-pelites,
strong alteration, basement uplift,
faults which post-date and offset the
unconformity, north-south features
oblique to the northeast regional grain
(such as at Millennium), and east-west
shear zones oblique northeast-trending
regional faults (such as at Moore Lake,
Key Lake and Cigar Lake), together with
the strong radiometric anomaly at Moss
Creek with a source inferred to be under
Pasfield Lake, all contribute to making
Pasfield a compelling uranium
exploration target.
The four key areas to be tested in
future drill programs are:
-
1. The on-land southern portion of
Cable Bay Shear Zone where a
vertical offset of 600 metres or
more is evident.
-
2. The north-south fault inferred
from gravity and proven by drilling
in the central portion of the uplift
block.
-
3. The east-west internal step
faults and parallel V-TEM conductors
in the northern part of the block.
-
4. The southeastern margin of the
uplift block.
Triex Minerals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:TXM
-
News) has the right to acquire an
80% interest in the Pasfield Lake
property from Thelon Ventures Ltd. Triex
currently owns 51% and is the Operator.
The property now includes a total area
of 66,811 hectares
